Michael Caine is a well-known British actor who has starred in countless films throughout his career. However, what many people don’t know is that his career was launched thanks to the help of Hollywood icon John Wayne.
Caine was born in London in 1933 and initially had little interest in acting. He worked a series of odd jobs, including as a plumber’s assistant and as a soldier in the British Army, before deciding to try his hand at acting in the late 1950s.
