J&K separatist and extremist
India finally got independence on August 15, 1947 from two-century of British rule after a struggle of a century. But the cost it paid for freedom was not less than its own division to make a new nation – Pakistan. However, the separatists and extremists of that time and those born later never got satisfied with the division.
Instead, they kept igniting conflict time and again between the two territories of Indian Sub-Continent. These leaders in Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) were immense help to terror masters sitting and active from other side of Line of Control (LoC). Also, they helped terror suppliers’ aid agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and Pakistani Army.
Pakistani rangers violating cease fire
Over the years, Pakistani Army has violated ceasefire thousand and thousand of times at LoC, the border between Indian administered Kashmir and Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK). In all these years, Pakistan never saw an stability of governance in the country and never looked towards a development and prosperity of its people.
The country, largely dependent on international funders or other big nations for its survival, often loses all the aid either in corruption by politicians and administrative people, or in terror funding against India. Never did its government cared for poor people of the country who are among the most marginalized in the world.
Every government, either proxy of its army or puppet of its terrorist organizations and ISI, dreamed only of exporting terrorism to India via LoC route. Or they conspired against India through international platforms, all with the support of its close ally China. For these purposes, the country got a huge back from J&K separatist leaders and extremists. And these cruel leaders ate from India and worked for Pakistani terrorists over the years.
J&K separatist and extremist sell terror
These separatists, with their own vested political interests, are those cruel people who sent their own children to study abroad. But they made terrorists from the innocent youngsters of the J&K. Thousands and thousands lives, including border security soldiers, police personnel and civilians, have lost so far. This happened due to Pakistani Army firing and bombing in border areas, terrorist activities and encounters. And also four wars between the two countries were responsible for killings of humankind.
All the four wars, fought in 1947-48, 1965, 1971 and 1999, Pakistan had to lose to India. But it never left any stone in it’s terror activities of conspiracies against the bigger, stronger and developing country. However, the conflict over Kashmir never got to solved,neither on table nor in battlefield. Even after over 72 years of independence, separatist leaders settled in J&K kept working for terror suppliers sitting on the other side of the LoC.
Terror selling not easy now
However, most of the big commandos, terrorists and their teams indulged in terror activities in J&K have been nabbed or killed by Indian security forces. A large number of encounters in all these years and decades made this possible in the region. On the other hand, Article 370, which held special status for J&K since 1952, has been revoked by Indian Government in 2019. This also resulted in the state’s division into two territories – Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh. With this development, there comes some control over the separatist leaders as they lost their agenda.
Their terror agenda was easy to sell during the special status in the region. But the point is this. Without support of separatists and extremists residing in India, it was least possible for Pakistan to sell terror in J&K. And this made lives hell of the innocent people of the state. Hopefully, with all these developments and control over separatism and extremism, people will find long awaited dues – safety and prosperity. Also, they will live dignified lives of J&K citizen, and the state will see growth and development in coming years.
