Literate but not educated
A large number of people who claim to be educated are literate only. You come across a number of people everyday who seem well educated, qualified and settled. But they claim this just because of their degree, career and status. Many times, they fail to behave with others in a right manner. And their education reflects in their degree, but not in their behavior.
Literate but not educated
One of such fool breaks rules of road by harsh and fast driving or ignoring the traffic signals. And a number of other travelers, who drive on road according to the rules, pay the cost of his/her ignorance.
A boss behaves with their subordinate, employee or interviewee at office in a very rude way just for small mistakes. And, he/she comments on their education, knowledge or status, making their mood, day and life worse.
A rich person, politician, or one with big connections or influence, behaves poorly with poor rickshaw rider, hawker or home servant or maid. The rich talks in a way like others are not a free humans but slaves or bonded laborers. And they make these poor feel that how they can make their lives hell in minutes.
Behavior proves what you are
And what about those fools who make crowd, or participate in crowd in the name of a grand event, occasion, function, fair or protest at a public place. Or those, who travel from one place to other, breaking all the rules of lockdown, when the world is facing pandemic crisis. Due to only one person affected by the disease, how many have to pay the cost of being in such a dangerous situation?
Are these people educated? A number of examples you may have about such a people. Who make lives of other humans really bad, just because of their own frustrated selves. Our education, work and status should reflect through our fine behavior, good nature and humanity for others. Not through our degree, career or status.
Otherwise, these people may be literate, but surely not educated.
