Border crisis in Asia
Why do we have to divert focus from Coronavirus to border tensions? While the world is facing Coronavirus pandemic outbreak, border problems have again become center of attention in national and international politics and debates for India and neighboring countries.
But why we have to face all this at the time when we must be committed for the safety of people from Covid 19. The pandemic has already claimed over half a million lives and affected more than 10 million people across the world. And when we don’t have a vaccine, who can think about occupying land and sea areas that belong to other countries.
Rising border crisis in Asia
But it’s China, the only accused of Coronavirus, in a mood to play a double game amid this crisis phase. Having border issues with all its neighbouring countries, China wants to occupy their land and sea areas as much as possible at the moment. The country also wants to divert the world’s mind from Coronavirus. This is because the world has made China accused of inventing the fatal Covid 19.
On the one hand China is moving into India’s territory inch by inch, crossing the Line of Actual Control (LAC). On the other hand Pakistan has deployed more forces at the Line of Control (LoC). China’s People Liberation Army recently had a face-off with Indian Army at Pangong Tso, Pangong Lake area and Galwan valley in Ladakh. This happened when the later retaliated when China attempted to occupy more land of Indian territory.
Indian forces are ready at LAC to give an appropriate lesson to China but diplomatic talks are still on to solve the border issues on table. However, it doesn’t seem to be happening through diplomacy and a war is in cards and in everyone’s mind. Because China moves four steps ahead and just two steps back following it’s drama of ongoing diplomatic discussions.
Tensions at three sides
In line with China’s conspiracy to create mess at Indian borders at the time of pandemic, its ally Pakistan is also playing games. Their rangers are firing and bombing on India’s side at LoC in Jammu & Kashmir now and then. It has also increased its terrorist activities across the borders to cash on the crisis situation.
Notorious for spreading terrorism, Pakistan has received huge debts from international funding agencies like World Bank and International Monitory Fund. But all the money is reported to have been diverted either to corruption or in terror activities. The small country Nepal has also got back from China in propagating its fake border claims as its parliament has passed an illegal map.
Th country is showing India’s Limpiyahura, Lipulekh and Kalapani of Uttarakhand in it’s own territory. Recently It was reported that Nepal’s communist government has made a few ties with China’s communist government. These ties benefitted the later in many ways in lieu of money for Nepel. China has already occupied huge land of Nepal at around 10 places across their border.
An ignorance to poor people
In countries like Pakistan and Nepal, Covid is taking a dangerous shape, and people are protesting against vast government corruptions. But the governments have left people dying. Their politics is caring only for their own vested interests even at the time of world crisis. It’s quite obvious that China gives favors to the poor countries which are always dependent on big countries for survival. And then it makes them do whatever it wants them to.
Whatever is happening is diverting the focus from the main issue of the time and that is Coronavirus pandemic. And that’s really bad and very selfish behavior from these countries’ governments. At the time when they have shown no care and humanity even for their own people. They just want to keep indulge in disastrous, shellfish and inhuman acts and make and world suffer all the time.
