This year is tough, very tough, for entire world. The year 2020 was much awaited, more than other new years. Because it was not only the new year but also this was the beginning of a new decade. Everyone seemed to be so much excited and filled with lots of hope and positive vibes with this new beginning.
Coronavirus pandemic 2020: No prosperity
However, since we heard about this coronavirus for the first time, we have been hearing about it more and more every next day. Well, such pandemics have registered their presence in previous centuries too, a total of 4 times in a row, as per known records. With Plague in 1720, Cholera in 1820 and Spanish Flu in 1918, now Covid 19 in 2020 is the fourth such pandemic outbreaks that happen once in a century.
However, it’s different this time in many ways. Because Coronavirus is said to be a lab-made virus to be used as a biological weapon. It was made with intentions to make the world powerless by killing it’s human resources in a very large number. And such wild intentions and cruel ambitions have resulted in over 10 million people infected by Covid. And also more than a half million fatalities across the world so far.
We still don’t know how much humanity has to suffer as we cannot expect vaccine for the disease very soon. Till then, we can just hope for the best. We cannot hope much for the growth and development this year. Because most countries of the world are still facing lockdowns to save lives.
Stay safe, save lives
And everyone has suffered a lot at work level, with many businesses partly or completely shutting down. Also, millions of people are facing unemployment, amid speculated worldwide recession. That’s why this year, we cannot look forward to prosperity. But we have to just look towards safety of all of us.
However, a good thing the year 2020 is teaching the world is to take care of your hygiene by washing hands and getting sanitized time and again. Other change we can expect once this pandemic is over, the world will be less greedy and more kind to the nature and to other creatures. And of course, social distancing is going to be the core of our new lifestyle during and after this Coronavirus period.
This year we have to just live and save the lives of others. We will have much time to think about building our life and world in upcoming years. Just remember to take care of yourself and your near and dear ones and stay safe in year 2020. Let’s be positive and wait for the better days that are coming up soon.
