BHU youth fest Spandan
Last week, we got only one holiday which was national holiday – Republic Day. As always on a national festival, we felt much patriotic this time too. Also, I such feelings were inside me that day. It’s not that this feeling comes in us just on the occasion.
Feelings don’t go out or come into us but always belong to us but on a special occasion a special kind of feeling becomes more prominent. I enjoyed whole day at home with the feeling of the day. Moreover, on the same day, both the batches of our department were going to play a cricket mach on the ground of BHU, which I liked to miss.
Wait for Spandan
That was partly because I was not interested about it due to of lack of excitement level during last year’s match. And it was partly because I didn’t want to miss the single holiday of the week. All other days of this week had been working days for us. There was no worth mentioning special activity, except the waiting moments for Spandan.
BHU annual youth fest
Spandan… Spandan… and Spandan… had remained much talked topic in the university for the whole last week of Jan, 2010. And, here was an exciting and joyful practice time for the students who got selected for performing in Spandan. I too was excited and joyful about it but there was no use of practicing.
That’s because the new rules of Spandan were quite disappointing for the contestants like me who secured second place in the intra-faculty youth fest. This time, only those participant will go into inter-faculty youth fest – Spandan, who secured first place in Sanskriti. In nutshell, I could not made it to participate in it.
Well, happy upcoming Spandan days to all of us…
