winning is my priority, my priority is not to defeat others, win the game, win the race, do not focus on others, do not focus on the negative, do not focus on what you do not have, win your inner battles, win your mind, win your life goal, do not focus on competitors, do not focus on competition

Winning is my priority

If I set my goal and start my race, I must be sure that I am not the only one seeking that target. There are many who are looking to achieve similar goals as me at the same time. I am not the only one on the race track. There is a huge possibility that when an idea came into my mind, many others may have already started working on it.

What is the most important thing I have to keep in mind? It is, I am here to win and not just for defeating others. My focus must be on my goal and my efforts go towards achieving it. I don’t need to divert my mind by focusing on those who are my competitors seeking similar goals.

Winning is my priority

In some cases, it’s important to make sure nobody is stealing your unique idea. If you know that others are working on similar ideas, you may seek some sort of information about their progress. But you must not go too much into it. Going too deep into your competitor’s data can not only divert your focus but also it can dilute your version of ideation.

And maybe you end up building your final product partially or totally different from what you once dreamed of. In this case you will be working on someone else’s idea and end up making a product of their dream instead. Or maybe you will find a totally confused product. Even your achieved goal will look hazy after years of efforts and investments.

Not defeating others

A number of people everyday set such a notorious example of diverting from their goal  in the mid of their path. Even many start-ups have ended up becoming something very different from their initial struggles. And They acheived a goal which were never on their list. And finally, they have to survive with a totally different product they ever thought of making. Or they have to wind up their journey with a confused product of no worth.

And that is just because they focused on their competitor more than on themselves. Or they found themselves shifting from their prime focus only when it was too late for them to take a U-turn. Before they could have caught back their original goal. It’s just because they raced blindly on the track and focused on defeating others rather than winning their own race. Always remember, the goal is mine and race is mine. And winning is my priority, not defeating others.
