We complicate simple life

Is life really difficult for creatures like us? Is it the most complicate puzzle of the universe? Or is it like a situation that is very complex? I tell you life is very simple. If there is someone who makes your life a complicate task is you yourself, and nobody else. We get life in its simplest form and put all the efforts to complicate it.

When a small child opens its eyes in the light of this world, they don’t know anything. They don’t have questions, they don’t have answers. They just cry when they don’t feel alright. And they even laugh sometimes without any reason. How simple is all this when they get a life. In a few days, they become familiar to their needs of milk and water. In a few weeks, they are aware of their surroundings.

In a few months, they start to recognize people around them. And in a few years, they have wants of getting things that attract them the most at times. We ask very simple questions in our childhood. We get more curious with passing of time. Also, we want to know about everything or anything happening around us. But as we grow up and touch the adult age, our questions become lesser and answers become more in numbers.

Our curiosity becomes smaller as we grow bigger. In the adult age, asking a question seems to be making us less knowledgeable. Having views and answers on those matters where we have rare knowledge, becomes more appealing. Our ego is stopping our curiosity, limiting our learning capacity. At this point, we need to remind ourselves to be curious again and don’t use views of a conditioned mind. We need to be child again.

Simple life is happy life

A child reads ‘honesty is the best policy’ but when they are adult, why do dishonesty and corruption seem to be more easy ways of getting things done or achieved? Why does stealing of taxes become so important for making and saving wealth? Why does telling hundred lies become easier than saying one truth in a particular situation? Also, why does it becomes a pleasure to look superior in terms of money, fame or power, to other known or unknown humans?

As we grow up, a simplest life becomes complicate one and we should take all the credit for this wonderful task of ruining it. We tend to take short routes rather than those long paths that were meant for a good life. Believe me, long routes may be exhausting you but at the end of the day you are going to have a full experience of life. And short routes may seem to be easier but they make your life cumbersome.
