Pakistani terrorist intrusion attempts
The Border Security Force today shot dead five intruders near India-Pakistan International Border in Punjab. The alert BSF troops noticed the movements of intruders violating ceasefire along International Border in Tarn Taran district of Punjab early this morning, said senior BSF officer. The incident occurred near Dal village of Bhikhiwind sub-division in the district.
BSF jawans asked intruders to stop and surrender but they fired on Indian soldiers, who retaliated in defence and to stop their further misadventure. BSF troop shot dead five intruders in counter firing, informed the BSF officer. We, immediately cordoned off the whole area as the search operation is on now, said the officers.

The BSF officials informed that there was underway an intensive search operation in the area. Five bodies of intruders, an AK 47, three pistols and a grenade were recovered from the fields. But actual strength and the intentions of the intruders would come out only after ongoing search operation, said BSF officials.
Nine packets of nine kg heroine along with AK 47, two magazines and 27 rounds, four 9 mm Berretta pistols with seven magazines and 109 live rounds, two mobile phones and Pakistani Rs 610 were recovered from the intruders, said the BSF spokesperson. Moreover, the BSF suspected that the intruders might have tied improvised explosive devices (IEDs) around their bodies.
This is the highest number of killings of intruders in such operation in more than a decade at the India-Pakistan International Borders panning 3,300 km, say officials. Of which Punjab shares 553-km long border with the neighboring country, along with Jammu, Rajasthan and Gujarat sharing rest of the International Border area.

However, this was not a rare case of intrusion by Pakistani terrorists and killing of intruders by the BSF. This happens many times in a year either at Line of Control (LoC) or along the IB. Earlier this month, BSF jawans shot dead a Pakistani intruder along IB near Bakhasar area of Barmer district in Rajasthan.
When the incident took place, the BSF spotted some other people with torches near the border. Their voices were clearly heard, however, they fled as soon as the intruder was shot dead, said a BSF official. BSF suspected that those people were present at border area to help intruder make his way easily into the country.
Same story repeats uncountable times at the areas along the IB and LoC since independence. Pakistan is also taking help of drones to send terror in India. Another recent incident took place last month this year. BSF shot down an arms-laden Pakistani drone along International Border at Rathua area of Hiranagar in Kathua district of J&K.
Waiting for terror activities
As per recent reports, nearly 300 Pakistani intruders were waiting at Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) to sneak into Kashmir to perform terror activities in the valley. Indian Army was ready to re-calibrate its counter infiltration grid and counter-insurgency strategies to contain the conspiracy of the neighboring country, said the sources.
Indian Army is making new moves in wake of increasing intrusion attempts by Pakistan to push terrorists into the valley. Every intrusion attempt to conduct terror activities in India by Pakistani militants takes help of Pakistani army and rangers. A number of times in a year, Pakistan breaks the ceasefire at LoC only to help militants and intruders enter Kashmir to held their terror activities in the valley.
Pakistani intruders also try to enter through IB only with terror plans and other ill intentions. Though Pakistan gets proper retaliation from Indian troops but never change their conspiring minds against the country. A number of times, the BSF personal nabbed or killed intruders. And they recovered a big chunk of fake Indian currency and drugs from them, in all these years.
Pakistani agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Army and terrorists send these intruders to spread fake currency, drugs and terror in India. Unstable governments, corrupt politics and terror-making army of Pakistan can never think beyond disrupting peace in India. The country again needs to learn a good lesson from Indian forces at the soonest.
