Nothing happens overnight in life
He made his debut in film industry with a blockbuster movie. Her business grew enormously and she became millionaire in no time. His political career began as a one-sided win in elections. She made to bag a gold medal in her maiden Olympic game. And we say, they got an overnight success.
But can we really say that all that happened overnight? That’s absolutely not. We saw their success but we never witnessed the hardship they went through. We did not see them while they were busy to make their dream a reality. Because that was the time we were busy to call some other people’s achievements an overnight success.
Nothing happens overnight in life
Ever thought about these questions? How much effort did the actor put in while working on his acting skills, maintaining his physique, and making himself presentable before the camera? Or how did the businessperson manage to make some millennial investment in order to convert her passion into her dream business with all the risk factors involved?
How many locations did the candidate cover to address rallies and convince people that if they vote him, he can work well for their constituency? And how many times did the sports woman fall on the ground only to get up again on her own during the practice so that she could perform well in the big games?
Effort of lifetime!
A success without a story of hardship is always incomplete. Every success has a history of a number of failures in every person’s life. Whether or not you witnessed the hard time they were going through before being known to the world with their very first big success.
We see the success and declare it an overnight one. However, it may be ‘a dream comes true’ moment for someone after a lifetime of sufferings and failures. We say, their story begins from here. But their story may have started much earlier we seldom had any idea of that.
