She started making this kind of art after a face paralysis. When she was recovered she wanted to make a statement that appearances don’t matter.

With her bizarre and imaginative Photo Art, Bianca Pauline makes a non-existent dream world come to life. Her unique masks are handmade, using herself as an art object. All made from discarded materials and homemade costumes and vintage clothing. The images are closely intertwined with childhood memories and personal experiences. The characters reflect the inner world of herself with which she conveys her statement: “It doesn’t matter what you look like, it’s about the inside of mankind”.
My camera is my paintbrush, the natural light my Rembrandt light and my attributes express my symbolism ,
As a photographic artist, she draws her inspiration from a multitude of sources: the world of fairy tales, old masters, religion, cartoon characters, street scenes. All this combined with her own life. In this way Bianca Pauline offers a light-hearted way of exploring the dark, emotional aspects of human relationships.
