Work without passion
We always say that we must do what we are passionate about. We must take our passion as our career. And we must live our passion. However, at times we all have to do some work we are not passionate about. We do it maybe to gain some skill, have some experience or earn some money. But inside, somewhere we know that this is not something we will like to do in long time.
A wait before taking up passion
We know that a time is coming when we will take up our passion and that will be our regular job from then. But the biggest obstacle in this route would be how to get motivated in times when you are not following your passion. You are keep doing some job you are not interested in and missing your passion of life. This is not an impossible task if you are having a clear balance between your work and passion.
You can go by this way easily if keep in mind a few important points. First of all, set a deadline – year, month, week and day – when you are going to start working on your passion. Never forget the deadline and d-day. Till then, keep being in your current job or maybe change one or two jobs, as the case suits you. What is important is that keep focussing on your job till you are in that. Don’t let your concentration go away. Try to give your best in whatever you are doing at the time.
Why to work and keep saving for passion?
If your best is not coming out, because this is not your passion, try at least to fulfil the minimum expectations from you at your job. Keep doing your jobs and keep saving for your coming future. People may be wasting their extra money on their parties, treats and get together. But you cannot afford this because you have to save a good amount for prospective investment in your passion. You know that whenever you step in your passion world, your work may not be earning for you immediately.
At that moment, your current savings will do the miracle for you. Not only you will be able to do small investments in your experimental ventures, you will be paying your bills too with these savings. So, after paying your current bills, save as much as possible for your near future. And these savings will keep you motivated to be in your current job before you enter your passion world. May not for your passion, but keep doing what you are doing.
